the other night. Pasta, again. I honestly don't know how it happened. I put the pasta in the boiling water. While I was waiting for the part in the pot to soften up enough to smush the rest of the noodles in, the noodles hanging over the edge of the pot caught fire and started shooting flames up about 1-2 feet into the air.
I'm going to start carrying some noodles in my pocket when we go on hiking trips. That crap is way more flammable than I ever thought possible!
In other news, how long until we can get some decent fresh fruit again? I've been craving non-sawdust watermelon now for weeks. It's going to be a looooooooong winter.
